Sarah, a photographer, and James, a journalist, together have traveled the world witnessing and reporting on horrific violence. When James comes back from Iraq early, leaving Sarah there alone, he is swamped with guilt after she is injured by a roadside bomb. Love and relationships begin to get analyzed and skewed through the camera lens. The wounds of the past cannot be filed away like old negatives.
