A NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK
ROLLING WORLD PREMIERE
A talking stork, lesbian moms, and the power to build your own baby… With a water shortage and violence on the increase, babies must be Pre-Certified in utero to ensure they have the purest genetic traits possible or risk banishment. It’s what humanity needs to survive. But when two couples conceive and face their own child’s results, things begin to look very messy indeed. This World Premiere production explores how far we are willing to go when we try to play god.
PLAYING FROM JANUARY 22 – FEBRUARY 9
Babel is produced at Unicorn Theatre as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere. Other partnering theatres are Theatre Exile (Pennsylvania), Good Company Theatre (Utah) Contemporary American Theater Festival (West Virginia), Passage Theatre Company (New Jersey), and Florida Studio Theatre (Florida).
