With an original score and dynamic puppetry, this bilingual production follows a teenage migrant’s journey across the challenging and mystical desert on their quest to find a new life in America.

Refuge contains adult subject matter and is recommended for ages 16+.

Refuge is produced at Unicorn Theatre as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere. Other Partner Theatres are Curious Theatre Company (Colorado) and Theatre Lab at Florida Atlantic University (Florida).
