GOD OF CARNAGE

By Yasmina Reza
Translated by Christopher Hampton
Directed by Mark Robbins
Co-Produced by Unicorn Theatre, Kansas City Actors Theatre and UMKC Theatre
The Jerome Stage

October 22 – November 13, 2011

Winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, God of Carnage has its Kansas City debut at the same theatre where Reza’s smash hit Art was staged more than a decade ago. Two couples meet to have a civil discussion regarding a schoolyard fight between their sons. What results is a savagely hysterical night of tantrums and tears before bedtime—and the kids aren’t even there! This sharp-edged new play is a 90-minute thrill ride that takes you into the most dangerous place on earth: parenthood.
